Liz Burkhart hails from Cincinnati, OH and has been calling contra dances since 2018. During that time, she has called extensively in the Midwest, toured the Mid-Atlantic and down south, led workshops at multiple dance weekends, and called Winter Warmup in 2024. Her enthusiastic energy and clarity encourage dancers to connect and move with each other joyfully. Liz seeks to find the balance between celebrating the joys of tradition and the innovation that modern contra dance craves.
